VEGA BOWL BACK MANDOLIN Vega Co. of Boston, bowl back mandolin, approx. 1913 to 1925, in excellent condition. Spruce top, mahogany neck, bowl is rosewood w/ contrasting wood inlay and Ivory trim, w/ rosewood headstock veneer. Ivory and contrasting binding with highly detailed inlaid purfling, rosette & tortoise shell pickguard w/ abalone inlay. Ebony fretboard with MOP intricate fret markers & tooled, plated tuner cover.
Original tooled, monogrammed leather case in need of restoration. P/C

REGAL FLAT BACK MANDOLIN Built in USA, 1960's. Regal, (Harmony), flat back mandolin, approx. mid 1960’s, in excellent condition. Student grade veneer “A” style flat back mandolin.
Regal of Chicago was absorbed by Harmony in 1955. No firm date on this mandolin, but appears to be post transition to Harmony. P/C
